Iraq versus Rwanda
Try this game…
Usually leftists are all about hating the fact that George Bush invaded Iraq.
Once a debate starts, you can throw out details like…
“He gassed his own people!”
“He started wars with his neighbours!”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_War
“He sponsored terrorists!”

“Oh yeah…he had rape rooms!”

Eventually the leftists will acknowledge that Saddam Hussein and his Ba’ath party were evil, but they’ll probably say something like the war was wrong because it was illegal and should have been a coalition of nations under the guise of the U.N.
Then you can say,”It was a coalition…The U.S., U.K.,Poland, Austrialia, Denmark…etc. Why the need for the U.N. banner?”
They’ll probably say something like,”The U.N. gives the whole operation credibility and legality. Only an international objective body such as the United Nations lends the moral authority to make a decision to go the war with an independent nation.”
Then you say, “Just like in Rwanda!”
Here’s a picture of some Rwanda’s waiting for the United Nations to help them.

No commentsShould the U.S. just nuke North Korea?
North Korea just launched another long range missle over Japan and into the ocean.
Of course the international community went bezerk! But not bezerk enough to do anything other than fall all over themselves with strongly voiced denounciations!
I guess North Korea wants more free money and food? Maybe they’re running out…again…
I suggest the United States just nuke Pyongyang and be done with it.
Here’s why this isn’t a completely terrible idea…
#1. Yes, nuking a country sounds horrible. But if you just hit the capital in the middle of the night, you could probably accomplish what you need to without ruining the whole country.
#2. Japan got nuked twice and they bounced back better than ever!
#3. By getting rid of Kim and his cronies and all the elite in Pyongyang, you would be able to turn North Korea into a free for all, Wild West type of place. Hopefully a better system and leader would arise out of that. A Pinochet or Franco if you will.
#4. The people of North Korea would probably be better off in the long run. The state of North Korea today is horrific.
Just read this…

#5. It would send a message to other third worl shit holes that you can’t extort your way into luxury. Right now, Kim is laughing at the West. If a twenty megaton nuke hit Pyongyang…he wouldn’t be laughing anymore.
#6. Give the land to other surrounding countries as a sign of goodwill. China running North Korea wouldn’t be ideal, but it would be better than the nightmare that is unfolding every day now.
#7. Barack Obama wouldn’t be identified as a wussy leftist.
Thoughts?
