George Snufalofagous was doing a story about how Canada’s Science Minister doesn’t want to comment on evolution because he’s a Christian.
George apparently thinks this is hilarious.
Then the next story was about the Pope in Africa saying condoms aren’t good for stopping the spread of Aids.
George said this was idiotic.
Idiotic because sexual promiscuity is inherently promoted along with the false sense of security condoms offer?
Idiotic because Aids is spreading rapidly in countries that embrace the condom message?
Idiotic because condoms are only 90% effectively, which ultimately leads to Aids being postponed rather than prevented?
If the CBC is looking to save money, start by cancelling this hipster tripe. Why is George Stromboneopolis getting a soap box to spew his biased opinion? On my dime?
I’d rather see re-runs of Beachcombers or Danger Bay.

George W. Bush gave his speech at the Telus convention centre.
People attending liked it.
People protesting didn’t.
The usual coalition of students and freaks and raging grannies and all those dopes were out in full force.
(Full force means about 100 in a city of a million)
The crowd was pretty angry that Bush wasn’t immediately arrested upon setting foot on Canadian soil. So instead a few of them got themselves arrested for good measure.

George Bush arrived in Calgary, had a pasta dinner in Kensington.
Gave a well recieved speech to 1500 and flew home to Texas $100,000.00 richer.
